The Labshark enclosed electric furnace (also referred to as a laboratory electric furnace, lab furnace, or electric heating furnace) is a safe heating device designed for laboratory and industrial applications. Featuring an enclosed, open-flame-free design, this enclosed heating furnace eliminates the risks associated with open flames and is ideal for chemical analysis, heat treatment, and material processing in industrial and mining enterprises, medical and health institutions, and scientific research units.
Available in four series—WY (Basic), LFB (Raised), LFB-N (Digital Built-in), and LFB-W (Digital External)—this laboratory heating furnace offers flexible temperature control from ambient to 600°C. The cast iron heating plate ensures uniform heating and high temperature resistance, while the digital microcomputer control provides precise temperature accuracy of ±1°C. With models supporting independent dual-zone operation or automatic constant temperature timing, this digital electric furnace meets the diverse needs of modern laboratories.

The enclosed electric furnace features a fully enclosed, open-flame-free design. This eliminates fire hazards and makes it ideal for laboratories where safety is paramount. The no open flame furnace design also prevents sample contamination from combustion byproducts.
The heating plate is made of high-quality cast iron with a diameter of 105–185 mm, ensuring uniform heat distribution and excellent temperature resistance. The cast iron heating plate is corrosion-resistant and built to last, providing reliable performance for high-temperature applications.
Digital models (LFB-N and LFB-W) feature a PID controlled furnace system with automatic temperature deviation calibration and temperature accuracy of ±1°C. The system ensures accurate and reliable temperature control, meeting the requirements of temperature-sensitive experiments.
The furnace is built with heat-resistant materials: a cast iron heating plate and a 201 stainless steel heating tube. This combination ensures rapid heating, uniform temperature distribution, and long service life even at temperatures up to 600°C.
Choose between mechanical knob control (WY and LFB series) for simple operation, or digital microcomputer control (LFB-N and LFB-W series) for precise temperature control. The digital models support automatic constant temperature timing and are suitable for more demanding experiments.
Digital models automatically restore the last temperature and timing settings from the previous experiment upon startup. This automatic memory function saves time and reduces errors, making repetitive experiments more efficient.
The furnace features a multi-row ventilation design that accelerates cooling. The cold-rolled steel housing with electrostatic spray coating provides anti-corrosion protection, ensuring durability and safety during operation.
Compared to open electric furnaces, the enclosed electric furnace offers:
No open flame – safer, no risk of fire.
Waterproof surface – not prone to short circuits.
Cast iron heat conduction plate – higher thermal efficiency.
Lightweight and compact – easy to carry and move.
Your Need | Recommended Series |

Place the enclosed electric furnace on a stable, flat, non-flammable surface.
Ensure the device is properly grounded and equipped with a leakage protection switch.
Keep flammable materials at least 1 meter away from the device.
Ambient humidity should be ≤85%, temperature 2°C–40°C.
Connect the power cord to a grounded outlet.
For mechanical models: turn the knob to set the desired temperature.
For digital models: use the control panel to set temperature and time. The automatic memory function will restore the last settings.
Place the sample container on the heating plate.
Do not touch the heating plate during operation.
For continuous use, intermittent operation is recommended to prevent overload.
After use, turn off the power and allow the furnace to cool for at least 30 minutes before touching the heating plate.
Do not use strong corrosive substances on the heating plate.
Unauthorized modification of the device is strictly forbidden.
Precautions:
Mandatory safety requirements: Must be grounded and equipped with a leakage protection switch.
Experiments with flammable or explosive materials are strictly prohibited.
Do not touch the heating plate; allow 30 minutes of cooling after shutdown.
Continuous overloaded high-temperature operation is prohibited (intermittent use is recommended).
Strongly corrosive substances are prohibited; unauthorized modification is strictly forbidden.
