Selecting the right vacuum manifold filtration system depends on your daily sample volume:
Choose BFI-03 (3-Place): Ideal for labs with moderate sample throughput (1–3 samples per batch). Compact dimensions (450mm) save bench space.
Choose BFI-06 (6-Place): Best for high-volume testing, such as simultaneous filtration manifold for water analysis or quality control labs requiring 6 samples per batch. Extra length (750mm) accommodates more stations.
Both models use the same 250 mL filter cups and 47/50 mm membrane sizes, so you can easily upgrade or expand your workflow.
Assemble the filter cups, valves, and base tightly. Connect the silicone tubing to your vacuum pump and ensure the overflow-protected collection bottle is in place to prevent liquid from being drawn into the pump.
Place the desired filter membrane (47mm or 50mm) onto the stainless steel mesh strainer. Carefully pour your sample into the 250 mL filter cup.
Turn on the vacuum pump. Open the independent valve for each station you wish to use. Adjust the flow as needed. The multi-station filtration manifold allows you to process multiple samples simultaneously.
When replacing or collecting the filter membrane, always check whether the solution in the filter cup has been fully filtered. Replace or collect the membrane only after filtration is complete.
After use, disassemble all components and clean them thoroughly to ensure no residue remains.
Precautions:
Sealing rings and silicone tubing are consumables. Aging after prolonged use is normal; please replace them in a timely manner.
An overflow-protected collection bottle is strongly recommended to prevent liquid from being drawn into your vacuum pump.
